Investors in People - Congratulations to the UPU Team

UPU Industries Ltd has been awarded the prestigious Investors in People award for its dedication to continued personnel development.

This nationally recognized award is an acknowledgement that UPU Industries has a proven commitment to training and developing its team members.

Investors in People is developing the skills of people within the organization, in order to compliment our innovative manufacturing processes. This programme of development will maintain UPU Industries position as a market leader and ensure our high standards are maintained. The commitment to training and development is centered on our desire to produce quality product for our customers.

UPU Industries recognizes the contribution made by the team members and would take this opportunity to thank all those concerned for their loyalty, dedication and hard work, which has helped make UPU industries a very successful company.

We at UPU Industries are very proud of the continued development of the staff throughout the company. This development ranges from our in-house NVQ programme, IT training, supervisory skills training, modern apprenticeships to university masters level courses.

However there is a need to express the contribution made by the company’s participation in the TCS Programme in gaining Investors in People. This TCS Programme was in conjunction with the Polymer Processing Research Centre at the Queen’s University of Belfast and the first 1-2-1 programme is coming to a very successful conclusion after almost 4 years. It is undoubted that this programme, and all who have been involved, has played a crucial role in the development of UPU Industries. Investors in People is recognition of the TCS Programme achievements in integrate knowledge development, technology transfer and specific continuous personal development into the fabric of the company’s activities.
