Achievements at FARMERS Manufacturing

Over the summer of 2001 we have reached record production at FARMERS and expansion continues unabated with new opportunities available all the time.

We contribute this success to dedicated personnel and effective teamwork. This is in no small part due to the excellent training programme available at FARMERS. We currently offer Level Two National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) in Polymer processing and presently are developing further NVQ’s.
Everyone at FARMERS would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the following staff:

Jim Conlon for completing Level Two Blown Film Processing
Gareth Leathem for completing Level Two Blown Film Processing
Mark McCabrey for completing Level Two Blown Film Processing
Andy Wilson for completing Level Two Blown Film Processing
Paul Nolan for completing Level Two in Materials Handling

We would like to thank the candidates for their hard work and considerable time and effort they contributed to successfully completing these awards. All candidates received their £100 bonuses in recognition of their achievements.
FARMERS would like to encourage those still on the programme and thank them for their continued efforts. We have marked these achievements throughout the summer with events like barbeques, go karting, paintballing etc. However there are new developments over the next year. We are progressing on the route to gaining Investors in People (IIP) and the creation of further job opportunities.
